Week 18 picks, possibilities, and results

It's the Final Week of Wallyball
Here's what's at stake:

Top Three Places
  • Congrats to Carter for a perfect season and first place!
  • Congrats also to Greg, who finished with 17 straight wins. Please don't pick the Colts next year... or certainly not in Week 1 or Week 18 or vs. anyone from their division.
  • Because the Seahawks barely won, Scott K was able to hang on for third, using points to break a three-way tie with Doug and Eric. .
$50 for 50% and Second-to-last place
  • Paul locked this one up thanks to that 12 point NE loss.  Even if somehow the Giants beat the Eagles, Paul would have the edge on the points tiebreaker.
  • Sure enough, a late Giants rally dropped Wally behind Colin into 2nd to last place.
  • But Colin didn't go away empty-handed.  He split half of the playoff pool with Al..
  • No suspense for last place... Dave wrapped this one up around Halloween.
Also congratulations to Jay K for winning the Holiday Bonus and Ryan for wrapping up the November Sprint, capping a good season for the Greg Barry Friends and Family Tour.

More detailed results coming- but now we have to start thinking about the playoff bracket, starting next week.  It's not part of regular season Wallyball, so we hope you can join us!

    1. Ditto for Carter, and to all money winners. And another shout out to Steve again for another successful and entertaining Wallyball regular season. May the football gods remove the Browns Curse... nah, it's too good as is.

  2. It was a fun season, Steve. Thanks again for all your work organizing the pool. And yes, I've learned my lesson - Never pick Indianapolis, especially the first week!

    1. A few of us got blindsided by the Colts: first year Wallyball, first game Colts > Jags; thus, the 3 strike rule. Indy's only good for car racing! Dang, they couldn't even disguise a win to the Tanking Texans yesterday. Of course, if you're meddling for .500 like me...
